Rags to riches stories are always fascinating, and when the credit goes to Feng Shui I feel happy.

This story has three phases:

March 2002.
Donald was a Senior Executive in a well known business house. He wrote:

"I am forty six and consider myself a failure. Looking back at the four decades of my life I feel frustrated, bitter. What have I achieved?

Often, people who contact me are concerned about their privacy. Their concern is justified. What they reveal to me, during consultation, is an extremely sensitive part of their life. Before they open up, they worry about being mentioned by name in my articles, till I assure them about my very strict policy of privacy.

Privacy assured

"I came across an honest, god fearing, hard working man who is very good at sales. He seemed to have an uncanny knack of knowing what will be in fashion and what will go out of fashion. He suggested a neon sign that increased the business in the late evenings too." - Benjamin.

Over the last few years I have realized that the corner considered the most important is the money corner. Creativity, Career, Fame, Marriage, Family, Knowledge, Health and Helpful Friends – the other eight life corners in Feng Shui – stand behind in the line that gives priority to vitamin M. I noticed it first when I held the show of paintings a couple of years ago. Instead of the usual dragons and toads in every house that chooses Feng Shui I wanted my special clients to have aesthetically painted symbolic Feng Shui canvasses.

It is so amazing…this concept of home (or any premises from where you operate) representing every aspect of your life and the opportunities to correct the flaws around you to straighten the mess in your life. While studying and doing research in the ancient Chinese science of geomancy I came across an explanation that is so simple that it borders on absurd. Yet, it is so true!

It worked for him. You can call it a minor miracle that meant a lot to him. Mrs Winters, an aunt he had forgotten, left him $8750. He received the message immediately after the first full moon.

The story so far…

The other four fortunate clients belong to diverse fields. Somehow, thanks to Feng Shui I have met an assortment of people I never met as a journalist. One is a lyrics writer who writes what I think less than mediocre songs but a little change in his house, a bright bulb in the right direction, some bamboos, a dragon and a couple of mirrors on the appropriate walls have given him a major boost in his career. He didn’t even have to knock too many doors! I will not be surprised to find his songs making it to the popularity charts, either.

For years Morton Cooper nursed a dream…He wanted to be a millionaire!

"When I am talking about being a millionaire I don’t mean to include the house I live in as that alone would be worth 2-3 million. Nor do I want to count the value of my wife’s gold and diamond in the house or the amount of deposit I have paid for my office. I am talking of real million. Cash.
